Read the reports
Six reports built from paid money: monthly overview, spending by category, cash flow, net worth, budget vs actual and account activity.

This is for the grown-up who wants to see where the household’s money went, with a look at what counts and what does not. It covers finding the reports, each of the six, and the account activity download.
Find the reports
To open them on a phone:
- Go to More.
- Tap “Reports”.
On a computer, Reports sits in the sidebar, right after Budget. The hub shows six cards, each with a headline figure and, on most, a small chart of the last six months: “Monthly overview” (“This month’s net”), “Spending by category” (“Spent this month”), “Cash flow” (“Last month’s net”), “Net worth” (“Net worth now”), “Budget vs actual” (“Budget left this month”) and “Account activity” (“Cash balance”).
What counts
Every report reads paid money only. Transfers never count as income or expense, and a refund is shown apart from spending. A pending transaction shows up in Budget vs actual, nowhere else.
The six reports
Monthly overview steps between months with the arrows beside the month, shows “Income”, “Expense” and “Net” tiles, each with “{amount} vs {month}”, then “Top categories” with a table of Category, Income, Expense and Refunds.
Spending by category offers a “Range” of “This month”, “Last 3 months”, “This year” or “Last 12 months”, or type “From” and “To” dates as YYYY-MM-DD. Tapping a category opens Activity filtered to that category and range; the note reads “Activity lists by commitment date”.
Cash flow charts “Money in and out, last 12 months”, with a table of Month, In, Out and Net.
Net worth has a “Window” of “12 months” or “36 months”, a headline such as “Up {amount} over {months} months”, then “What you own”, “What you owe” and “The kids’ jars”, marked “Held for {names} · not yours to spend”.
Budget vs actual shows “Assigned”, “Spent”, “Pending” and “Left” for the month. Income categories, and any expense category with nothing assigned and no activity, are left off the list; the Budget tab still shows every category. The note reads “Budgets count by commitment date”. See Assign every dollar.
Account activity
Account activity starts with “Choose an account”, then “From” and “To”. It shows “Balance before: {amount}” and a running balance per row, 50 rows a page, with “Page {page} of {pages}”. A range can span at most 36 months; longer shows “Choose a range of three years or less.”
On a computer, “Download CSV” saves the same rows as a file. It stops at 50,000 rows: “The CSV stops at fifty thousand rows. Narrow the range.” This is one account’s activity, not the household export; the full JSON copy of your data is in Download or delete your data.
